Serving up the finest tastes of Lebanon, the multi-award-winning Dubai dining destination, Al Nafoorah, is opening in an exclusive pop-up at Zuka, the beachfront restaurant at Jumeirah Muscat Bay, bringing the authentic flavours of the Levant to the shores of Oman.
Running for a limited period only, from 15th November until 15th December 2023, multi award-winning Chef Ali Fouad will serve a specially curated menu designed to take guests on an authentic culinary journey. Meaning ‘The Fountain’ and taking inspiration from the Berdawni Riviera, known as the ‘city of wine and poetry’, diners are invited to experience rich Lebanese heritage, as they are welcomed with an innovative menu to transport them to the vibrant and cosmopolitan city of Beirut, while taking in spectacular sunset vistas.
With over 20 years of experience, Chef Ali has been recognised with several regional culinary awards including being a three-time winner of the ‘Middle East Specialty Chef’ title by ProChef ME. His menus are inspired by his Lebanese heritage. They are dedicated to creating local authenticity, a commitment that is supported by quarterly visits to Lebanon for inspiration to improve the offering and range of ingredients constantly.
The bespoke pop-up menu will feature signature dishes including Chef Ali’s Tata’s Salad, inspired by his grandmother’s recipe that has been passed on for generations, served alongside well-loved cold and hot Mezzeh, freshly baked manakishand a selection of mouth-watering grills including lobster, tiger prawns and Black Angus tenderloin. For the perfect sweet ending, guests can delight in heavenly Cheesecake Baklawa, all served with an array of tantalising cocktails and mocktails inspired by Lebanese heritage.
The pop-up will be open for dinner only, with seatings available between 18:30 – 22:00. Guest can opt for special ‘Taste of Al Nafoorah’ tasting menu for two available at OMR 42 or a la carte menu.
