Delicatessen café and restaurant, Fauchon is one of the chicest dining destinations in Muscat. Located at the Opera Galleria on the premises of Royal Opera House Muscat, Fauchon has been serving refined French culinary delicacies for over a decade and has been winning hearts all along.
We recently visited Fauchon to try their newly introduced Hi-Tea. Fauchon is renowned for French gastronomy, serving food from breakfast to dinner and everything in between. The delicatessen café is especially well-known for its exquisite pastries, eclairs, cakes, and macarons.

We decided to enjoy the Hi-Tea on the terrace of Fauchon given the beautiful weather we are bestowed with during this period. Our Le Grand Fauchon Tower Hi-Tea arrives, decked with a delectable and imaginative variety of savoury and sweet treats. The selection is as elegant as it is appetising. The savoury selection includes mango and coriander turkey bruschetta, croque madame, lobster roll, prawn arancini ball, halloumi croissant, chicken and mushroom vol au vent, and beef bacon wrapped sausage. The variety is simply fantastic and delicious.
The sweet selection features macarons, madeleines, French toast, and cookies. The Le Grand Fauchon Tower is for two and comes with two beverages. We opt for coffee and fresh orange juice. The variety and portions are quite generous which left us quite full albeit happy. There is also a Hi-Tea tower option for one person that features fewer options but is just as delectable.
Fauchon serves Hi-Tea from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM daily.
